Event announced: A Nation Called To Heal
Check out this great event at SJSU in San Jose, California that aims to help spread awareness of child sex trafficking in the Philippines. With 30% of the nation living below the poverty line, it’s easy to see how bad child trafficking has become in the P.I. We hope you really consider attending this event and spreading the word about this serious issue. You can learn more here: pagkabataproject.
Here’s the message from Alyssa, the organizer of the event:
Hello Everyone!! I would like to invite you all to attend my benefit concert, “A Nation Called to Heal” at San Jose State University in the Morris Dailey Auditorium.
The proceeds of this concert will be going towards the child and youth development program of my organization, the Pagkabata Project–which combats child trafficking in the Philippines through education and youth leadership. I hope you all will be able to learn about the injustice issue of child trafficking, as well as support the talented artists who are coming out to perform.
It will not only be a great and memorable experience for me, but I hope it will be one for you as well.
To reserve tickets, please visit www.philippineveins.webs.com or purchase them from Aaron Remulla, Alex De Jesus, Beverly Mejia, or myself.
ALSO…IF YOU ARE A JR CELSKI FAN, he sent over some signed shirts of his to be raffled off at the benefit concert and an exclusive video he sent will be featured during the show.
SO… If you would like to participate in the raffle, tickets are $5 each and you will get the chance to win autographed JR Celski shirt, gift cards, and more!!
Thanks!
Alyssa Remulla
